#WorldMaritimeDay Beach Cleaning Event Limassol 29th September 2022
On the occasion of #WorldMaritimeDay CYMEPA organized the Beach Cleaning of Akti Olympion B’, (Thalassokoritso) in Limassol on Thursday 29 September 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
The event was under the auspices of the Shipping Deputy Minister Mr. Vassilios Demetriades and the Environment Commissioner Ms Klelia Vasiliou and was supported by the Municipality of Limassol.
CYMEPA members and the following took part: CYPRUS SHIPPING CHAMBER (CSC), WISTA Cyprus, YOUNGSHIP Cyprus, CMMI, MASTER MARINERS ASSCIATION, THE NAUTICAL INSTITUTE, INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED SHIPBROKERS CYPRUS, LIMASSOL MARINA, DP WORLD LIMASSOL, AKTI and ENALIA PHYSIS.
Stelios Philanthropic Foundation, as the sponsor of the event, provided the volunteers with caps, gloves and bags.
