Sir Stelios Haji-ioannou founder of the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation receives award for his contribution to entrepreneurship by BCA College Athens at its 48th graduation ceremony on 24 May at the Megaron Athens International Conference Center, in the presence of 1,800 guests. The Award was accepted on his behalf by Trustee David Watson. As well as supporting Scholarships at the schools where Sir Stelios studied: The London School of Economics and Political Science – LSE, Bayes Business School – formerly Cass & Doukas School, he is now funding 7 Loukas Haji-Ioannou Scholarships in partnership with BCA to students who want to obtain the certificate of ” yacht chef”. The courses are held on a floating campus, the family boat of his late father Loukas Haji-Ioannou named KLELIA 1 in Zea marina.
