Sir Stelios giving back to the community in scholarships

Over forty The London School of Economics and Political Science – LSE Stelios scholars joined (in person and online) easyJet founder Sir Stelios Haji-ioannou for a reunion at his philanthropic foundation’s London HQ yesterday, the first since the COVID lockdown. Every year the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation 5 scholarships to undergraduates worth £30k over their three year course at LSE. 132 Scholarships have been given to to date worth over £3.2m. The audience included current and past students from the last 18 years, some of whom, including Katarzyna Krajniewska, Cristina Fedorca, Melody Ama, Marko Kasun, Moihnidh Jaswal & Panagiotis Iason Kazazis, spoke of their life changing experience that a scholarship provided. The students also heard from Sir Stelios as well as LSE pro-vice chancellor, @Professor Eric Neumayer.
