Small and smooth and successful. Our first Cypriot Cuisine Workshop went swimmingly!
Everyone got to enjoy a hands on experience making traditional recipes in the kitchen of the Cypriot Community Centre, whilst learning about the variations of dishes from different countries in the South West Asia & North Africa region, as well as the minor differences in cuisine between the two main communities of Cyprus. Everyone got to take home a recipe booklet with cuisine history information, Cypriot-style knives and most importantly, the delicious food they made!
At the end of the workshop, we all sat down together and had a wholesome meal, where we also found out that the cooking instructors had matching olive branch tattoos 🫶
